Le Musée médical Maude Abbott poursuit sa mission de mise en valeur de collections liées à la recherche à l’Université McGill par ce déploiement hors les murs du musée : l’université ayant acquis dès la fin des années 1940 le RCA EMU-2Btransmission electron microscope (TEM) , le premier modèle commercial produit par RCA et acquis au Canada, et conservé depuis []{.mark}par le département de microbiologie depuis son remplacement par des modèles plus récent.

Le RCA EME-2B a retrouvé son importance historique dans cette présentation dynamique pour laquelle DBD a utilisé les perspectives en plongée de l’édifice patrimonial Strathcona et proposé une ligne du temps qui retrace l’histoire de la microscopie électronique au sein de l’université McGill.

Diane Bernier

With a Bachelor's degree in design and a certificate in management, has been working as a designer and museographer since 1989. She has specialized in the design and realization of exhibition projects for a diverse museum and business clientele, and has completed over one hundred exhibition projects to date. Acting as a scenographic designer and project manager, she is involved in all stages of the design process, from the conceptual development of layouts and interactive and multimedia installations, to planning, execution design and spatial implementation.
