The Black Watch Regimental Museum (Musée régimentaire du Black Watch) was founded in the aftermath of the Second World War. Following recent work on the building that also houses the armoury, Diane Bernier Design (DBD) was commissioned from the start of the renovations to renew, in collaboration with the architects and the museum team, the permanent exhibition in respect of the past and to adapt the presentation of archives and artefacts to the new conservation standards.

It is in this context that DBD has set up a series of showcases featuring the important collection of military costumes and the history of the regiment, which began in Montreal in 1862, and its deployments.
